Celebrity Reptiles is owned and managed by husband and wife team Janet and Martin Southcombe.

In the 1990's, Martin spent time at The London Zoo working in the reptile house and the invertebrate Conservation Centre and during this time he gained a qualification in Zoo Animal Management.

Janet and Martin are passionate about animals and believe that they should play a significant part in children's learning. With their knowledge and enthusiasm the business was formed and initially, Celebrity Reptiles only visited schools to give educational talks.

Since those early days the business has evolved as a mobile zoo that entertains at parties, corporate events, shopping centres and supplies animals of all sorts for Film and TV work as well as for the photographic and advertising industries.

Janet is a domestic small mammal enthusiast who in the past has kept, bred and shown with success, fancy rats and mice.

She has over 25 years experience of working with people of all ages who have learning and physical disabilities. This means Celebrity Reptiles is the ideal choice to entertain and educate children and adults of all abilities.
